SEMARANG, KOMPAS.TV – After DKI Jakarta pulled the emergency brake in handling Covid-19, now it is Central Java’s turn to step on the brakes.
Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo began to ‘step on the brakes’ in handling the spread of the Corona virus or COVID-19.

There are 9 areas called Ganjar that need special attention including Pati Regency, Rembang Regency, Boyolali Regency, Sragen Regency, Semarang City, Wonosobo Regency, Pemalang Regency, Kudus Regency, and Tegal Regency.

“I conveyed that there are several districts / cities that need attention today, so I ask the regents / mayors to keep the brakes tighter and tighter,” said Ganjar after a meeting on handling COVID-19, Semarang, Monday (9/14/2020 ).
Ganjar appealed not to hold events that bring large crowds.
The alternative can be replaced by virtual or with very few participants.
