300 educational programs are offered in Sevastopol for refugees from the DPR, LPR and Ukraine

The government of Sevastopol recommends that citizens of the Donetsk, Lugansk People’s Republics and Ukraine who arrived in our city undergo vocational training, receive additional education or improve their skills.

Those who wish to undergo vocational training and receive additional education must submit an application on the Work in Russia portal. To date, more than 300 educational programs are available.

Sergey Makhonin, head of the Employment Department of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, said that on the Jobs in Russia portal, citizens who were forced to leave the territory of Ukraine, the DPR, LPR can independently choose a training program and form of education, both full-time and part-time.

After that, within three working days, you must contact the Employment Center and provide the original documents. And further assistance will be provided by specialists of the employment service.

In Sevastopol, this category of citizens can be trained in three educational organizations: Sevastopol State University, the Institute for the Development of Education and the South Russian Institute of Management. The duration of training depends on the chosen program and schedule and can range from three weeks to three months.

“We invite citizens from the Donetsk, Luhansk People’s Republics and Ukraine to take advantage of the opportunity and receive an absolutely free education. Today, there are many programs for vocational training and professional development. Among them are the IT-sphere, the field of tourism and hospitality, the field of education, accounting and others. Jobs are also available. It all depends on the initial education, competencies and desires of a person,” the head of the employment department emphasized.
