Xiaomi has unveiled the 65-inch OLED Mi TV Master. The smart TV appears in China for a price of 12,999 Yuan (1,635 euros). The 65-inch panel with 4K support works with a MediaTek chipset. It has a 120Hz refresh rate, and the screen occupies 98.8 percent of the front of the device.

Xiaomi Mi TV Master

The MediaTek MTK9650 chip within the OLED TV of Xiaomi can count on a working memory of 3GB and 32GB storage. There is a speaker system of 9 speakers, including a 20 Watt subwoofer. It supports DTS Audio, Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos 2.1.2, Gizmochina writes based on a Weibo message. It also includes a voice assistant, which you can address using the built-in microphone.

The device has 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports and an Ethernet port. At least one of those HDMI ports is suitable for HDMI 2.1. This Mi TV Master television supports Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. The remote control is made of metal and the device rests on a base of glass.

MIUI, based on Android

The TV runs on MIUI, the Android-based operating system of the Chinese phone manufacturer. It has a gaming mode and the device has Always-on Display. The 65-inch television also seems to be very fast: the response time is 1 millisecond.

At this point, it seems that Xiaomi’s new television will only be available in China from tomorrow. Whether this comes to the Netherlands is unknown.
