Darmstadt (ots) – In the night of Wednesday (July 1st), unknown persons invaded a property in Pfannmüllerweg. Subsequently, the uninvited visitors probably used an open door to get into the house unnoticed by the sleeping residents.
The perpetrators searched for valuables in several rooms. Personal documents, perfume and money fell into their hands before they managed to escape without being recognized. The victims only noticed the crime after getting up in the morning.
Witnesses who have made suspicious observations are asked to report to the City Investigation Team at 06151 / 969-0.
The police warned in this connection: All windows and doors should be locked even in summer. This applies in particular to balcony and patio doors. Tilted windows are open windows for burglars! Reduce the risk of falling victim to a break-in. Criminals immediately take advantage of opportunities.
